INSTRUCT trainings provide very short, focused instruction to teach communication partners strategies or procedures to support the communication of individuals who use AAC. The trainings use evidence-based instructional techniques including checklists and video demonstrations of each step. They may be used with parents of young children, educational staff of school aged children, peers of adolescents, direct support personnel for young adults, healthcare providers in medical settings – or anyone else who interacts with people who use AAC.
